NAA member Stan McNabb sent in some old blimp photographs taken at Scott Field near Belleville, IL in 1926-27. Scott Field was a US Army base with a rich history in lighter-than-air (LTA). The Army had a large LTA program and it looks like the airship in Stan's photographs is the Army's TA-1, which operated in the 9th Airship Company out of Scott Field at the time.
